Hi Avi. Firstly, lovely to hear that you had a good b'day. And that ur hubby cooked for you. ;-)
About carrying high or low, well I have had discomfort in my ribs and as u know my pelvic area has had pressure too, so don't know where exactly the baby is high or low!! But do feel that lately my tummy seems to be going down from the rib area, so maybe the dropping has started or rule of gravity, my tum is getting pulled down by the weight. Pelvic pain getting worse, ribs easing, so guess now I am getting near low area!
Those pysio exercises are so tough to do, like do them one or two times and i'm exhausted. My back pain is killing me, hubby has to rub down ointment before I can think of sleeping!
Not long to go, three weeks at work and then some rest hopefully before the d-day!
Take care.
Simmi

Hey Simmi, ur baby surely must be moving his/her behind away from your ribs and moving down slowly... I read somewhere that starting around now, the fundus will surely go down till the babes reaches the pelvis..

Sorry to hear to hear about your back pains..and yes, the exercises sure are hard...Just hang in there and let hubby keeping giving you massages... and like you said, not long to go...
I hope your pelvic pain goes down too...I can understand just how painful it must be....when I was working, the pain would get so bad that by the end of the day I could barely walk...

Make sure you get lots and lots of rest over the weekends..

Take Care

Avi,

I guess my baby's been in the middle. I do get some kicks up on my ribs once in a while but not harsh kicks. Also, since I am having pelvis pain since last 3 months, it's gotta be low. So, I don't know how I am carrying maybe middle or low. But for sure, my tummy doesn't tough my thighs yet.

That was sweet of your husband to cook for you.

Hey Arshiya, my stomach seems so relaxed on my lap...the sight is funny indeed...

since the effacement has already begun for you, you baby must be low cause, as far as I know, the baby's position does play a part in the effacement/dilation process..

sweet of him to cook - yes.. It sure felt good to sit and watch tv and be served.. :) ...
today it's back to being the other way around.. :)

Avi,

Hope you had a wonderful day yesterday.

Regarding carrying high or low, my case is kind of in the middle. Neither do I feel the baby near my ribs nor have any pelvic pressure(which would mean I am carrying low, right?).

Is that possible? Do we have to carry it low or high?

Vindhya

Hey Vindhya, your cutie must be in the middle like you said or even low.cause pelvic pain could just be due to pressure on the pelvis by the growing uterus and not necessarily becoz of the baby's head....

I haven't felt any kicks near my ribs ever either......I heard people say that their ribs were sore with all the kicking and made me wonder why my bean didn't want to kick me in my ribs :).. I guess becoz he likes to lie low :) so does your little angel...

On another note, yesterday was alright...after almost 5 or 6 years, I had an alcohol free b'day.. I had fruit punch instead and since I am sick of eating out, hubby made some dinner while I watched lord of the rings II.. :) and ate up a whole humongous bowl of greasy chips... :)

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance
