Hey Arshiya, wanted to ask you - which part of the stroller/car seat did you wash???? I mean, did you wash the cover on the sitting area or did you wash the canapy thingy too????
I've been trying to get the covers off the stroller and car seat and didn't want to mess things up or tear anything up :)

I know it's tough job to take out padding on both carseat and stroller. I couldn't do it myself, so had to ask DH. And, when we took out carseat padding, we thought we will mess it up while putting back in, so we made sure where is what coming out and what belt goes where. And, put the belts back on without padding, so that we can remember. We were afraid it would be a safety issue otherwise.
For stroller, we tried but couldn't finally figure out, so I only washed the headrest (comes with mine) and left the padding without washing. We thought by the time we put baby directly in the stroller, baby would be atleast 4-5 months old, so by then baby will be immune to almost everything, so it's ok.
By the way, what stroller/carseat did you finally get?
I used Dreft but babiesRus also had All for babies. Washed them in cold water and used tumble dry option.

oh ya, I also washed canopy area and footcover (i have in mine) for the carseat.
