Dear all, I have a 15 month old daughter who doesn't want to eat or drink milk. Hence we have decided to make her eat forcefully & hold mouth & forcefully make her eat. However now a days she has refused to take her stuff in this way & even we find this quite strainful.

Has anyone any suggestions. We have tried not to give her food forcefully, even then she refuses to eat & we din't had any option but to make her eat forcefully

Also is it necessary for babies of her age to have milk. I guess my baby doesn't like milk & hence she avoids it Sunny replied. Never force Baby they will start hating food.
Try Variations of Yogurt (Spinach/tomatoes/carrot/potatoes all Steamed but seperately to be put each time) besides that try Soft Cheese all kids love it. and in Food you may add Butter. Baby Yogurt is also available try soya Milk or Soya Bean product give milk only in the morning and night but if the baby is teething or having pain play soft music or any baby music. Teha replied. I have a son who is 13 months old, he too is going through a phase where he doesn't want to eat or drink, but I take that as a sign of being unwell due to teething problems. Please don't force your baby to eat by holding it's mouth, because that will teach the baby to be fussy all the time. what I do is leave him him for 10 minutes and come back to it, again if he refuses to eat then leave him again for another 10 minutes, and let him calm down, usually works for me, but generally he eats ok.
