My baby is 6 1/2 months old . i started her rice cereals when she was 5 months old.she ate cereals very fine .i gave her twice a day. but for the past one week she was not at all eating even she never take 1tsp of cereals. i don't know what to do? she just cries when i place spoon near by her mouth. she's very stuborn she never opens her mouth. but c's drinking milk instead of that. but she'd a cold ,cough & fever 2 weeks back. at that she didnt eat but i was not worried becos surely it can't digest becos of cold.she was fine for the past 1 week but never taking cereals. what to do? .i'm worrying a lot thinking does she quit her solid foods. please give ur sugggestions. i had the same problem when my child was 7 mths.i think there's nothiing 2 do with her fever r cold.its the time for her teething and may b she feels the irritation r pain so she refuses her food.but dont give up try offering her food.try giving some stewed fruits,mashed bananas,potatoes.dont try giving cereal alone.try giving her some finger foods that's easy to swallow like rice cakes r puffed rice.try giving her a frozen bread r rusk that may sooth her teething if so...
