Hi everybody

Can someone tell me how to make Garlic rasam and Lemon rasam? Also,if someone can give me some \";quick-to-make\"; healthy veggie recipes,it would be appreciated.

Garlic Rasam:
I use MTR Rasam Powder only for Garlic Rasam since it tastes good.But, you can use anyother Rasam Powder too.
2 tomatoes big.
Rasam Powdwer - 1 tbs
Curry leaves - garnishing
Garlic - 10 pieces
Salt to taste
Boil tomatoes in water and mash it well. You can blend it in the blender too.
Take ghee in frying pan. Add mustartd seeds to it. After it cracks, add haldi powder and garlic and let it fry. Then add the rasam powder and tomatoes. Add some more water to the mixture. Let it boil for 5 -10 mins and then add salt at the end.
You can use tamarind instead of tomatoes. You can add some thur dal at the end to the rasam too.

Lemon Rasam:
Green chillies - 3
Thur Dal boiled
Pepper Powder
Jeera Powder
Fry some green chilies in the ghee with mustard seeds(Similiar to Above Rasam).
Add some Haldi Powder to it. Then add dal with water mixed.
Let it boil for a while..then at the end add pepper aswell Jeera powder and garnish with corainder leaves.
Remove it from the gas and let it warm for a while. Add lemon at the end. Do not heat rasam again after adding lemon.
