Do you have a special medical cabinet in your home? Have you ever been unprepared for a medical problem? What items do you keep in your medicine cabinet?

I too believe in the importance of a medicine cabinet. Our neighbours though do not in spite of their household members falling sick every time. They keep coming over to our house to ask for medicines. I don´ t understand why they can´ t keep things in their own house.I also feel scared to give them any medicine. I am scared because I think that they will blame us if anything wrong happens to them after having the medicine given by them. I do feel like telling them sometimes to maintain their own medicine cabinet.

Subject:  Home remedies

I have a proper medicine cabinet in my house. Still, when someone needs something, we try home remedies first. They are natural substances therefore they will not harm anyone. If the remedy does not work only then will we go to the doctor. So far we have not had any big problems. I also suggest others that instead of using medicines frequently it is good to try home remedies. If you use natural remedies you will feel better and it will not harm your body too. It is good to keep some ingredients like honey, lemon grass, tulsi leaves etc to treat common problem like cough and cold.

Even for serious injuries, you need to provide basic medical care. You cannot instantly take your child to the hospital. The least you should be able to do is stop the bleeding or bandage a wound. For a small child, this could be a big difference in receiving medical care. Maintaining and updating a medicine cabinet proves to be helpful during the times of emergencies. You can not say about the circumstances, anything can happen at anytime in life. I. So to avoid any problem it is always preferable to be prepared for the worst. Especially we should always be alert to protect our children.

RE:Consticipation for 4 years old
This is an old thread but one thing no-one said was that exercise is important for gut motility. All the green veg and pear juice will be limited in their effectiveness if the kid isn't very physically active (just walking more and driving less helps!)
Also, my usual comment - use a child-size glycerin suppository if he's gone for two or more days without doing a do.... - Suzanne [View Message]
