Hi evrybody,Im a mother of 6 month old baby girl n i have developed allergy after my delivery.Its very severe accompanied by itching all over my body n i also get itchy bumps which look horrible.I breastfeed my baby n its difficult to take any medicines except for mild ones.Pls suggest me some remedy to eliminate my allergy as it is passing on to my baby as well n my husband is quite worried abt it.PLS help me out..i would be very thankful to u all. shan replied. I too had this itching business for almost three months. It really is a nightmare. I can never forget it. Its very difficult to find the cause for it. Might be medicines, clothes, food, sweating, skin dryness, just anything. One thing I found that was to try to distract yourself when some such thing starts. Try to take your mind off when you feel like scratching. I know its difficult to ask you not to take bath, but avoid applying anything on your skin or taking bath for a few days. Allow it to heal by itself. I was so worried and had been to the doctor. He gave me some ointment for eczema and told me not to scratch at all. He said it would vanish and to be patient. And of course it did go but recurred when I had an abortion. It occurred in places where I sweat. So be relaxed and keep your cool, everything will disappear. If you really want to apply something, try aloe vera extract on your skin, its very soothing. relax replied. I had such symptoms too. I had eczema. When one nurses the kid, there are weather changes and also dont have time to apply lotion liberally to the body like other time, this happens. Due to delivery,nursing and all, your hormones are reacting. You need to take bath in lukewarm water(not too hot or cold) apply good lotion like vaseline intensive care or(eucerin if u live in western country) you need to wear comfortable clothes and not too tight and irritating to the skin.
Drink lots of water, after few days it will go away on its own.
My husband has such symptoms too and it is not bcoz of you. My child had it till one year and we used eucerin body wash,lotion and after one year, the kids develop resistance to season change themselves.

where are you if ion india show to a detmatologist
try hydrocortisone cream it is anti itich
if it is allergy to any thing try benadryyl syrup which is anti histamine
but i would first suggest to show to doctor
