My baby is 7.5 months and Iam planning to buy high chair for him. According to American concept I think Iam late in buying high chair.Let me know am I right?

I am assuming you live in the US. Don't worry about being late in buying a high chair. I waited until my son was sitting on his own.

There are numerous high chairs on the market. Really, you decide based on what you think is important. I looked for the following features:
- adjustable height
- proper straps to keep baby secure
- i wanted a high chair tray which can be cleaned in the dishwasher. i found one which had one large outer tray and another inner tray. if the inner one gets too messy during a feed, i simply take it out and continue the meal with the outer one.
- a chair whose cover is water resistant. most of them can be removed and washed in the washing machine.
- the chair which i bought has various adjustments for the incline of the seat. i found that useful when my son first started using the sippy cup. when i tilted the chair back, it helped him to finish up the last contents of his cup.

hope this is start. i find that the moderately priced chairs to be just as effective as the high priced ones. but this is just my opinion.
