Diet and Exercise:overweight after giving birth to twins

hai friends,

I am new here. hope u'll all help me to reduce my weight and tummy. my weight b4 this pregnancy was 62kgs, BTW I'm 5.6\";. now after normal delivery of twins(a boy and a girl), i've increased to 82Kgs. also my tummy has gone up from 32\"; to 40\";. I've been breastfeeding both kutties mostly. babies are 5months old, and I underwent Family planning operation since I have a elder girl child. Please advice me to reduce my extra weight and tummy in the right way. Thanks.

My weight during delivery was 61kgs. A week after the operation and delivery, the weight was down to 55kgs but soon I started eating like a hog and I started gaining till I was 60 kgs again. By then it was 3 months past and the doc allowed me to start gymming. So from Jan onwards I started a combination of gym/walk/diet and now down to 50kgs which is okay in my height of 5ft 2 inch. What all I did were - swimming (if not every day, do it on days you get time)and/or gym (I did it twice a week due to my office), walk up the stairs instead of taking the lift every time,walk to the extent possible instead of taking the car to go to nearby shops,cut down on non veg and eat plenty of fruits for lunch/breakfast, drink 4 litres water every day,no snacks and fatty food, combine breakfast and lunch in the morning and eat it by 8.30am so that there is enough time during the day to digest the food. Reduce food quantity as the day progresses and eat a smaller dinner. Try it out. All the best.
