Diet and Exercise:exercise after 5 months of c-section

hi ,
i had c-serian 5 months back stil not all my internal stiches dissolve ,so can anyone tell me wht kind of exercise i can do now ,coz after c-section i gain 15kg more weight. pls help me out on this issue.

hi KS, I had c-section and I was a fitness freak all my life. I exercised everyday during pregnancy as well. I started exercising right at 6 weeks. Stated with walking briskly , weight training etc. Soon joined Running room's half marathon clinic (I am runner from before) and finished my half marathon when my son was 6 months old

So, you can do anything now... Just start slow and pace yourself into it.

When we do C-sect we have to be very careful on the exeecises we do, it will be good if you can start formal exercises after 6 months of C-sect. Before that if you are a fast recoverer than you can slowly start doing housework. ALso drink alot of Fish Essense, which will help to heal fast and effictively. After 8 months than, you can faithfully do sit-ups every night. Start of with 5 or 10 than gradually increase but don't stress yourself! Exercise should be fun and not painful. Good Luck.

walking slowly and briskly will help along with a healthy diet.try to avoid sugary and fatty foods.dance slowly with your baby to music.your baby will enjoy and you will also shed lots of calories.
