Vegetarian Food:Food Processor

Hi, I am currently in the US and am debating if I should be buying a good processor or a blender. I have used a blender here before and that has been enough for me. But, in a recent conversation with my husband's aunt, she convinved him that a food processor is 100 times better than buying a blender as it can do much more that a blender. I remember my mom complaining about food processors in India - that they dont cut vegetables like she wants them to and dont knead flour as its supposed to be done and that they are only good for women who work and have a busy life style. I am working here and life is hecitc when I have to come back and cook. Can anyone suggest if a food processor would really help and if yes, any recommendations on which one to buy.

Thanks.

These indian mixies are especially good for Indian cokking. I use mixie more than a food processor. Using and cleaning is very easy in Mixie.
I do have a preethi chef pro plus - 5 jar mixie. It is excellent and trouble free performance. Go to - w w w. perfectpeninsula . c o m for more details about the mixie
