i delivered on 11th may(normal).had periods for 20 days.after 10 days again im having periods (bright red blood)for past 2 days.is it normal? how long will it continue?pls answer didi replied. my doctor had prescribed me some medicines to be taken for 5 days or so after delivery, these reduced the blood flow and it stopped in 5 days or so. I did not know about the medicines and so asked her why my mense stopped she said its because of those medicines. We prescribe them these days so that there is less loss of blood.
I wonder if these were given to you or not. Now dont assume that prescribing them is good, it depends on doctors. And periods have returned in 10 days. I think you should talk to your doc/gynae. It is believed that after priods post delivery there are no periods till mother is full-time feeding the baby. Also check with doc about iron supplements if u are not taking any.
