Hi all....u all must be thinking whynot has lots of\";anybody done this\"; questions. Believe me i am getting irritated day by day. Nothing is working.Dont fell like doing anything.Even a shower.
ANyway...my Q is has anyone done a Hysterosalpingogram? Its an x-ray procedure performed to see whether the fallopian tubes are open and also to see if the uterine cavity is normal.
I did sonohysterogram....which is different than this.

dear why not.....i perfectly understand when there is a problem and one is just not able to find a right solution...then not finding the right solution itself becomes a problem.Same with me too... udont ahave to find a straight road..infact what u have to find to be at peace is destination.just have faith and keep hope dear. one day u will find your destination. the doctor had asked me to do the same test if i want to go for IUIwhere again my chance to conceive was solitaair and moreover that months cycle will go waste. so i didnt go for it...thought better go directly for icsi.
do what u think is right. mu best wisheh r with u.

hi whynot,
I had HSG done twice. The doctors insert the speculum and then squirt a dye into the uterus. I had some cramping when they did this. but it is very bearable. then they take x-rays. if the dye spills over on both the sides it means the tubes are open. you can take some pain killer after the procedure if you still have cramps. sometimes you might have slight spotting. the whole procedure look less than 30 min.
good luck.

Dear whynot,
HSG is not that painful if that's holding you back from doing it.
HSG increases chances of conception.
It's process where they will place dye in your tubes and the flow of dye will help determing if the tubes are clear.

Yes, there are girls on this board who were offered this test and if they see your message will confirm this.
