Feeding:Constipation and milk

Hi,
Am trying to get my 1 year old to drink whole cow's milk now she is on formula - Promil Gold now, she has accepted the milk but has very hard stools and cries when she passes.
Please advise if I am doing something wrong by giving her formula and whole milk in the same day.

I was suspecting the same reason as you have stated, the reason for the switch is that she is underweight and the whole cow's milk might be more beneficial is what I had thought, what should I do, is Progress good for her?thanks in advance

yes u can give her progress, since u were giving her promil... for progress, u dont have to dilute it ... since it's the aftermilk for promil... try it out with ure kid for some time and then u can switch over to some other milk, if needed.

the reason of the conztipation is due to the high fat content in cow's milk compared to formula..... i would suggest that u dilute the milk with water and then slowly increase the milk quantity.

why dont u switch to Progress for some time and then start with cow's milk...

my daughter was alos on Promil... i switched to progess when she was a year old... gave her that for a month and now i am giving her Nido (for 1 yr)
