Yes one can have PCOS without any symptoms mentioned by u.

Dear Vas , even i have slight PCOS with all hormonal tests, thyroid everything normal. And no symptoms whatsoever with very regular periods and not atall overwieght. So u can have opinions frm different sonologist just to confirm. And show it to ur gynaec who will be best person to decise the treatment.

normally some hormonal injections will be given which will help 1 or 2 follicles to grow to a bigger size. Then some other medicine will be given near ovulation to stimutae and rupuer the follicle grown . the full cycle will be monitered with U/S. then when u ovulate u will be asked to keep relation for2 days . This is all done if ur trying to conceive.
Anyway show the reports to the doc and he will be able to guide u. dont worry its not that big a problem and treatment is availabe and also effective.

thanx for replying. I already had ultrasound done twice (5-6 follicles on each ovary) and prolactin test was normal. No thyroid problems either. So what other tests can be done at this point to confirm the diagnosis and go for further treatment, and what treatment wud i have to go for?
