Hey, As my doc gave us a fear of water..I really didn' t wash her face daily...because I used to get a feeling that she gets red on face ( these rashes) after bath...but I think it was beause she cries a lot after bath when i dress her up-...yOu told that you keep the rashes clean..how do you do that???????? with water???? or something else???ß
I know that a lot of children have Eczema..but this has turned my life by 180 ...if someday I got a chance then I will tell you how....its been days that I slept n beacuse of that I had to stop feeding her....( which was a struggle from the very begining)...
anyways..thats yy i decided to go to india for a while...but at that time i didn' t know that heat could also be a problem...
please tell me about cleaning...n whenever I don' t apply anything (that cream) her face is very very dry....

1. avoid ne mucus or tears or sweating on it, whenever seen, wipe or flush it off.
2. avoid ne chemicals or fabric that mgiht irritate or trigger itching.
3. whenever the temp is too hot, avoid overdressng her. let her skin breathe fresh air, at the same time,cover her sufficntly that she doesnt catch wind.
4. its quite understood that your baby is having severe dry skin and water n too much of washing might irritate her skin but that has nothin to do with hygne ! if possble, whereever you see those rashes have turned red or so, see if a damp wash cloth(cool water, not cold or hot or warm), helps her get some relief from itching.mostly the red areas are more itchy..
n since the place you are going is hot, keep your baby well hydrated. since she is 2months, nothing much can be given except 1oz of water between feeds.it will help.keep her in room where a humidifier is there, it will hydrate her skin and will help get relief from itching as well...since you are right now in severe cold weather,warm mist will help. when you go to india, it will be severely hot, so a coolmist will be a better idea !
washing with water causes dryness, thats true,, but water also heals the skin cells from dryness,,thats how it works on plants, human skin and animals in dessert !!
