ok, so it is a girl!!!!!! I am soooooo happy!!! seems the baby is in a \";transverse\"; position, she is lying horizontally, with face to my back. that is why i seem smaller. is this position ok? i am supposed to be 31w6d now. will the position change or will i have to go for a c-section. if someone knows about this please guide me. i have to talk to the doctors also, i have an appt this week. will see what they say too. ok, bye!!

Hi Siya
dnt worry.
Uve to wait till 36 weeks to decide whether the baby is a breech as they keep moving .
only after 36 weeks if the baby is still not head down then some drs try to move them by alternate therapy.(though i dnt kn any one who has got that done)and then ifthe baby is still not head down dr suggests C-section.
Its too early to say.Keep ur fingers crossed .Just last week i went fr my check up the baby was in some angle i skd the dr she said the baby is moving so dont worry the head down position is later nd only between 36 and 40 weeks it is ok to go into labour thats where the baby position counts so the last sono is imp or in my case where the dr was touching me and tellin me where her head was !
u kn sme thing amazing we are due almost at the sme time.
tke cre bi luv nandini.

Hi siya,
congrats!
Little princess is coming!
About the position Last week we went to Lamaze classes they said if the baby is in Breach position or transverse position then its c-section.
But they also said there is a chance the doc can adjust the baby's position.
And by the end of 36weeks baby should be in head down position so I think still time is there.
And u know what after seeing the videos they showed I got an impression that c-section is better for some time.
I felt scared after seeing those videos but at the end when they hold their baby I'm overwhelmed
then I felt even the Scary movie has a happy ending!
Discuss with your doc!
good luck!

hey! i totally understand!! even when i saw the videos the first time around, i felt that c-section was better. but my first-born was normal and believe me, the recovery period is really, really fast. by the end of 2 weeks, u feel as good as new (except for the xtreme sleep deprivation!!!). in c-section, the recovery is more harder and the worst part is that u have to do everything like normal delivery (breast-feeding, sleep deprivation etc). if u get the epidural, just take it, it takes the edge out of the normal delivery's pain and makes it actually enjoyable. by the time the anasthetic wears off, the most pain is gone and u will only feel a little sore (that can be fixed with painkillers). so, don't worry about it!!! as for me, there were times during the pain that i was actually begging for a c-section!!!!!! right now, i just want what is best for the baby.. be that c-section or normal delivery.
luv, siya

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
