Due Date Club August 2008:its a girl...!!!!!

Name: alolika hello all mommies-to be......
wanted to share tht i found out yesterday only tht im gonna have a GIRL!! wow,im so so happy:-))
right now im 16 weeks 4 days preggo n had gone for my routine check up. so during the ultrasound i casually asked my gynac can he see the sex of my baby n to my shock he said \" its a hamburger\" ...
i didnt understnd what he meant but my husband did n started laughing. anyways, i asked my gynac n he said YES, ITS A GIRL.. cant tell you how happy n excited we were.. we had wished for a girl n we are getting one!!
now i can start thinking for names n doing up the nursery...he he...
so how is everybody doing?

Great news!
U must be on the ninth cloud, must be already dreaming about her looks, smile, etc. It is great to know the gneder of the baby so u can start shopping, here in India they don' t tell but i am really curious to know what is it for me.
All of u ladies do keep me updated with the gneder of ur babies.
I am in 18th Week, doing great. Will go for a scan in the fifth month, much looking forward ot take another glance at my little one.
Just wanted to check, has any of ur Doctors advised u on till which month flight travel is safe? I have chekced with couple of frnds and they have suggested that till 28th weel there is no complication but still wanted to know what with the rules at ur end?

gr8 news yaar ..evn i m exicted to find out abt sex of child but my hubby says he doesnt wnt to know n wnt to keep a suprise ..i m so happy for you ..i have a appt with my gyn on 18th lets see wht he says ..i m going to definately ask him as i want a babay boy .....good luck to you ..

horlicks with milk

i know for sure horlicks is absolutely fine with milk.. but in pregnancy i was adviced to have mother' s horlicks since it has DHA and some other stuff that are good for the baby...
