My 8 month 3 weeks old son goes to daycare, since he was 6 months old. He was a very health child got mild cold & ear infection only once till he became 6months.
These days he started getting cold very often. However he doesn' t have too much of discomfort except for nose block. When ever I take him to doctor, She says no infection, no chest congestion. Usually his cold gets cured in 2-3 days. I checked with my doctor, if I need to do anything with his colds. She said it is because he is going to daycare. When I checked with daycare, they said my son is the only one who gets cold so often.

What precautions should I take to avoid colds?
I give him orange/sweet lime juice and well balanced diet with 5 different coloured vegetables and 5 different fruits everyday.
Not sure what am I missing so that my son is getting colds so often. I dont get cold very often. may be once in an year or two.
He doesn' t keep everything to mouth too and I sterilize all the utensiles after every use.
Please advise me what can I do to make him more immune?
prao replied. My 7 month old also has the same problem and she dosent even go to day care, she is with me all day. I make sure she eats the right food, BF her often and try to maintain a hygenic environment. Inspite of this she seems to have a slight cold all the time. Doc says no medication is needed and it' ll cure itself. I really dont know what to do...
