Due Date Club October 2003:Gall Bladder Trouble!!!

Name: Suni Hi All,

I have been having severe pain under my right breast. I went to the doc yesterday and she suspects that it might be stones in the gall bladder, and if it is, I will have surgery after the delivery.
They have scheduled an ultrasound of the gall bladder for me tomorrow. I hope the result comes out as negative, but then I guess there will still be the question of why there is consistent pain. I have been so worried and tense since yesterday, that I guess if the earth stops moving now, I will have a permanent frown on my forehead!!!!!

Gallbladder prob is common in pregnancy but not all cases r due to stones so i hope you get a normal scan.Don't worry&keep away from fatty food that aggravates the pain.Let us know how it goes,stay positive&pray!!!

Hi Suni,

I am very sorry to hear that.Hope ur ultrasound result of the gall bladder comes as negative.Maybe u can ask the Doc for some pain releivers.Trust in God, everything will be just fine.

Thanks so much for the lovely words. I do hope it comes out negative tomorrow, it is so painful, and somehow I do not want to drug my body unless absolutely necessary during the pregnancy, that is another of my crazy pregnancy thoughts these days, have so many of them, that I feel I am going bonkers!!!

Hi Bar,

Thanks so much for the wishes. I do hope my results are negative. My parents got a 1 year multiple entry, so they will have to get it renewed next year...I was hoping for a 10 year like your parents got!
My parents will land here on Oct 3rd. Even I did not yet get their medical insurance yet, but need to get working on that too....so much to do, so little time right?
I hope your twins are doing real well, having twins is such a blessing, they will have siblings without you having to go through preganacy again....smile lots, put your feet up and relax, you need all the rest now.
