I read ur message posted.Since you haven't mentioned about trying with OPK's, Did u try using those in any of your cycles other thatn cervical mucus monitoring? If not, try it and see whether you get a postive surge line for Ovulation during your fertile days between CD10tillCD16 of your cycle.You can test it every alternate day until you get a postive surgeline that you're ovulating.Now coming to ur question what is clomid? Clomid is Fertility drug. Clomiphene citrate is frequently referred to by its brand names, Clomid and Serophene. Clomiphene is used to induce ovulation, to correct irregular ovulation, to help increase egg production and to correct luteal phase deficiency. It tricks the pituitary gland into producing more FSH and LH, which, in turn, stimulates the ovary into producing more eggs and follicles. If there is a male factor involved in your inability to get pregnant, Clomid will not fix the problem. In fact, that's why most physicians suggest a thorough exam and adequate laboratory testing before beginning Clomid. Preliminary fertility testing and a semen analysis for the partner is just as important. One would not want to arbitrarily begin taking Clomid if there are other problems that need to be addressed, as it would not necessarily be of any value in the face of other unrelated factors.You can also try the OPK's while you are in Clomid(if ur doc prescribes one for u) just to make sure that you are ovulating.I am going to try the same if i get my periods this time.Mostly as far as I read in some of the websites, it says Women conceive within the six cycles of precribing the Clomid.Hope my message is clear for u or Archie can help you too.Best of Luck!!!Expecting a Good News from u soon!. neena replied. no my husband has not done any checking.as our 1st child was conceived very easily and fast we thought or may be still we think we r absoultly normal now next mnt we r planning to see a doctor may be then we wil get the right picture and then do accordingly. neena replied. hi lakshmi,
thanks for ur explanation regarding clomid.no uptill now i have not used opk as i was clearly studying cervical mucus ans which was observed in all the cycles in between 10-16 days after periods.but in my present cycle i did not get mucus during this period but felt it earlier ie.from 8-11 days is that possible.of course i did intercourse during that period but was thinking will do on 14th day which is today after my period but to my surprise i am dry for last 2-3 days.so i am having tension dont know what will happen.now next mnt will buy opk and try.as we r in oman and not in india we were not willing to see gynac but may be now next month will go to gnyac.

i thought as soon as i will have unprotected sex i will become pregnant so these all yrs after my son was born were taking precautions.i have never had any pills nor have done any operation then why it is difficult know i dont know.i am overweight also may be that is the cause,is agethe cause or trying after soooooooo many yrs.is the cause i dont know.
