How is the workload in Accenture,India??Anyone working there?Any daycare of creche offered ther in office itself. Why cant all companies atart a creche for working mothers:-(

Keepind a full time maid is such a headache.

nice place in koramangala.i work for a corporate but corporates like mine who have a daycare,do not run it very professionally and provide basic daycare only.private ones are usually better.call nine three four two four one zero six zero two for a place i like

As per the industry law in India, for a certain percentage of women in an org, the org has to have a creche. Now I am not sure what that percentage is, but I guess Accenture, IBM, Wipro, Infy etc have enough percentage of women to fall into that category.

We are neither aware of those laws/rights nor we question our offices. If women in an org know that they qualify for that law, they can unite and ask the leadership to have one.

Whar more, latest I heard that when a women returns from maternity leave, she can go to feed the baby every 2 hrs or so!

I dont have the exact laws, but I know some good ones are there for us. We should be aware of them.

You are correct ..we are not aware ..i dont knw abt the creche law but 2 hours feeding law is there. I made use of that ..i go home to feed him ..for 1-2 hours once a day and no one ever questioned me.

I am a mother of 4 years old son and I am working woman. I usually left home by 9 in morning and reach by 8 in evening.
I usually get quality time with my son on Sundays/holidays. But then as i reach home by 8 eve, I realy work hard to finish the work and food by 10 or 10:30 to make love with my son coz i love him very much after my husband.
