Last week our family had a trip to tirupati.Its so nice to visit tirupati.but this year trip is very new for us. after reaching tirupati we booked room in the centre cottage.we had taken rest upto tat evening.after then we all had gone for shopping in the shops.we had put token for our darshan and return back to our cottage.then my mother remind me tat to shave my head b4 the darshan(everytime when we visit tirupati i use to shave my head)but surprisingly my mother said tat she had vow to shave her head once(its a religious thing for our caste(naidu) tat everyone should shave thier head once in thier lifetime)we all went to the kalyankatta which is in our cottage.its somewat rush at tat time.me ,my mother,my sister-in law all standing in the line we all had our tokens.at tat time only i got to know tat sister-in law is also standing for the headshave.we got random token nos.after entering inside the hall we got seperated in diffferent ques and my mother and sister-in law are standing in front of a lady barber where 15 to 20 ladies standing before them.but i m stanging in front of a men barber where the next turn is mine. i wet my hair and i was waiting.suddenly the barber asked me to sat b4 him.after than he rinsed with some more water and asked me to give the blade .he then put the blade in the razor and hold his hand on my head.and started shaving my head from centre to back i felt cool on tat part.within a jiffy he finished my backside and started shaving my forehead and finally he rolled over my head and said its over.i stand up and look my mother but still they are waiting in the line and i have gone near them and waited for them.after 20 to 30 mins it was my mother' s turn.she wetted her hair(she had a butek lenght hair)and sat b4 the lady and she asked the blade and my mother had give it 2 him. then she tied her hair into two knots and wetted it with somemore water and hold her hand on my mother' s head and started shaving her hair from the centre to the back .suddenly a white patch appeared on her head and it got spread when she shaved the whole backside.and my sister in law got embrassed by seeing her head with little fear in with him.then she started shaving her forehead and taken all those bulk hair and my mother facelook got totally changed.then she ran tat blave over her head for a smooth shave .after all she ask my mother to stand up.when seeing her in bald look she was totally different.my mother asks me to look her head to look is thier any patches remaining.but she was tonsured smoothly and she was nervous to see her new look.she given the towel to me and said wait till your sister in law turn and she gone to the cottage.next it was my sister in law' s turn.she had only shoulder lenght hair more are less like bobcut.she wet her hair and sat b4 the barber and the barber wetted it with some water and ask the blade .she was nervosly given tat blade.and her hair is tied into two knots with a rubber band, then she slowly started from the centre to the backside and her head was too whitish.she then shaved her whole back head.she was little fat so her head had bulgy looks near her neck.her ear jummkas we oscillating when she had her hedshave on her back head.she then started shaving her forehead .while shaving the front side a brownish line appeared in her forehead which we call us vaguduand finished her headshave.and she stanup tally and looks very new looks.she looks totally different.b4 her headshave she looks so beautiful but after her headshave her facelooks totally changed.and me and sister in law came out of the tonsure hall .she ran her hand over her head and she felt tat some small hairs get stick into to her chain which was not shaved.(chain which has black beads and gold beads combined mostly you can see on telugu peoples will wear in thier mangalyam)so she gone over the barber and said about this and she immediately stand up and shaved it cleanly.when we came outside the hall my sister in law saw her face on the jeep and she got embarassed.she then covered her head with the duppata and we then gone to our room.we had our bath. and on the morning we had the darshan and had purchase on tat evening my mother and my sister in law bought scarfs fo thier head. i bought a cap. we then return back on our car to chennai .
