Thanks for ur reply..I guess the fussiness in drinking milk was a phase, he' s drinking fine now.
i' m just concerned abt his weight. His birth weight was 2.3kgs and at 2months 15 days he' s 4.5kgs. Doc says his weight gain is very good, but I read here at 3 months babies r like 6kgs, is my baby' s weight ok for his age?
And when should I start solids for him? I' m totally bf him, and flow is also good, so I' m planning to start solids frm 6th month..is it ok?

if your dr is happy with your child wght gain, there is no hurry for solids !
he is happy with your child wght gain which means your child is gettng enough from the feeds she is takng from you or formula,,and is sufficient enough to provide all the nutrients that her age requires as of now !
so i will strongly support you for your plans to start solids from 6th months and until then keep up the good supply !
please note that your child is 2mnths and 15days and if your dr has seen your child growth right from day 1 and is happy with that, your concerns being a mother after reading all online forums or articles is quite accepted but is not a worry !
your dr has seen your baby from day 1 and if he is happy with all the growth that your baby has shown,,your concerns should not become worry,,,all your concerns should be that i will continue supplyng him with good milk/bm...
also note that his wght is going thru acceleratd growth right now,,so there will be great diff even if you are comparng your baby with those who are 3months old !! matter of 15months though,,infants grow by wght until 8-9months of life weekly at an acceleratd grwth esp with wght !!!!
to me as well, a healthy boy from indian origin with bw 2.3kgs, and with current wght 4.5kgs at 2.5mnths, looks just right !
