My baby is 2+ months. Till now he had been drinking milk well(have been exclusively breastfeeding). From past 2 days he drinks for 2-3 mins, and stops, looks at me and laughs and coos, after tht if I offer more milk, he starts getting irritated and starts to cry. i tried burping him and tried everything, but to no avail. I' m worried if he will get enough nutrition. He seems to be active and plays well when awake like before. Also the frequency of his bowel movements have become less. Pls suggest something..is it normal?

karuna Hetal replied. after 2months, dont expect your baby to finish the feeds as before, offer on demand, and give him lots of tummy time before feeds,,,,,,
as far as his wght is growng good/per week,,you shouldnt worry.
frequency of bowels becomes less after 2months, your baby is now baby and not a newborn nemore,,so expect his routines like of mature baby(3months and onwards),,,as far as he doesnt seem to be in pain while passng bowels, or doesnt seem to be irritated before passng bowels,,,its fine.
soon you will have his 3months apt, your dr will tell you to start on solids or formula,,if he feels that baby is not drinking enough(which will be reflected in hs growth).
