Hi, I have a 10 month old daughter whose weight is a big worry for me, she is 7.5 kgs birth weight was 3.1 kgs, she is very active and energetic and has already started to walk but does not seem to put on any weight at all, please suggest some fattening foods for her as she should gain atleast thrice her birth weight by her first birthday.
P.S: Her diet includes, milk, cerelac, banana, egg twice a week, and chicken, dhal, veggies and rice with butter once a day as dinner.

Hi B,T
I think I am in the same boat as you are in .My daughter was also 3.1kgs at birth ,when she turned 1 year old she was only 8 kgs.But she is a very active baby. Now she is 18 months old.Her doctor told me that as long as she is active not to worry he asked me give lots of curd and cheese.
Regards
Mommy

I guess the key word here is 'active', that keeps me satisfied, will definately try the curds and cheese and butter bit, hope that helps
