My husband loves Punjabi Rotis. Can someone provide the receipe for SOFT rotis.

if u live in US try making rotis with tofu which is readily available. and don't use water at all. this will certainly make softer rotis.
if tofu isn't available then knead the dough with milk rather than water

Tips:-
1) The dough for rotis should be soft, I mean more the water, softer the rotis turn out and ensure that you knead it well, so that when u form the ball just before making rotis it, feel the softness and if it is kneaded well, the ball won't have any cracks in it.
2) Instead of water use , the water which is drained out while making paneer.
3) Ensure the tava, is perfecltly clean.
4) If u prefer oil or ghee in rotis, roll the roti half way through , spread ghee/oil, folder into a trinagle and roll it again...
