Health Issues:Control over bowel movement in School

In school, my 6 year old son is not able to hold stool till he reaches the toilet and as a result, is invariably soiling his trouser/ shoes/ etc. The principal/ teacher/ maids shout at him and other students apparently make fun of him. Oflate he has started disliking school. Can anyone please suggest ways to improve his control. Please reply urgently. Thanks.

Dear Parent,

I do not no about your sons daily bowel movements.

The best solution to this problem is to get him habituated to clear his bowels every morning. This way he do not have to clear his bowels in school.

This can be followed by giving him a warm cup of milk as soon as he wake up. Or give him a big glass of warm water and then sending him to the toilet. It may not happen over night , but once you make this a habit, the boy will get used to it.

This is what I follow with my kids. Clearing the bowels in the morning is a habit to be made for all humans. This needs to be followed especially with kids as they do get embarrassed when they get into situation what your son has gone through.

\" All my solutions are to the point and not intended to hurt anyone' s feelings\"

Regards,

Pete

RE:Consticipation for 4 years old
This is an old thread but one thing no-one said was that exercise is important for gut motility. All the green veg and pear juice will be limited in their effectiveness if the kid isn't very physically active (just walking more and driving less helps!)
Also, my usual comment - use a child-size glycerin suppository if he's gone for two or more days without doing a do.... - Suzanne [View Message]
