Just wondering when is the right time to start massaging my angel!!

she was so tiny & also i didnt have much energy to do anything more than basic care untill now. She is 5 weeks now & i dont know if its time to start massaging.

Also what is the best oil for it? I heard that ghee is best but i am not sure about it..... Once my dh did apply ghonsons baby oil on her when she was 2 weeks & her skin has turned darker so now i m still more scared to start massage.......

Help!!

Hi niki massaging ur baby is very good!! It helps strengthen their muscle and they get good sleep too. My baby is 10 mths old now and I massaged her till she was 5 mths as too much massage fr girls is not good. MAssage her with almond oil...its tooo good...she will definitely get fairer with almond oil. Olive oil..ive heard makes children dark. Johsnons oil is a definite no no fr massage..my baby got rashes with it

Massages can be given at any time ! My daughter started when she was 4 days old and she hated it but soon got used to it! Try Olive oil ! It is the best and old people say it lightens the skin too! Oil cannot darken the baby's skin unless it is applied and the baby left in the sun to tan! Massages are usually given to soothe the baby and generally help put the baby to have a nice long nap after his/her bath!
