Hey about the body parts thing again, I began feeling this at around 26-28 weeks, which is around the begining of 7 months. So, take heart, u might be able to feel it even now. Just find a quiet time, usually, at night and try and concentrate on the movements, u will be able to tell the difference. for eg. something hard and bony is probably the knee, something ticklish is the fingers (it will feel like short flutters, one after the other, kind of like tapping ur fingers on a table, if u get that idea), something hard and powerful is the foot kicking u. try and see. there is still time to feel it. as for the not appearing pregnant part, u r definetely carrying a girl!!!!!!!! people still think I am carrying a boy or I am going to deliver the next minute, because I look way too pregnant!!!!! take care. Bye!
Luv, Siya

Hi Siya,

I really havent been able to spot any body part like you said. I keep cribbing to my husband. He doenst want to be troubled with all such things. As long as the baby is fine, I dont have any pain, he is pacified. People here say that since Im not showing at all it has got to be a boy. Neighbours, friends everyone.. As for me I still dont know what I want to have or which is better. I guess either one is ok. On second thoughts, maybe a boy!
I am leaving for Bombay in another 15 days. Seemantham on the 30th of this month. Have your parents arrived? I keep forgetting, when is your baby due?

Any more tips on identifying baby parts are welcome!

love,
Raji

hey! maybe u r blessed with a really calm child!! believe me that is best thing!! in my case, saurav was very active in the belly itself and now, i am having a really hard time - he can be a real pain at times! i thought this one might be calmer, but it doesn't look like that so far, so like it or not, i seem to be blessed with troublemakers! i know about the "not seeming so pregnant" thing, it can get really annoying, especially at a time when u want to shout from the rooftops that u r pregnant. well, it will be easier for u to lose weight then! i get a lot of back pain because of the way i am carrying, not to mention pelvic pressure, both of which don't let me sleep at night. don't worry about it too much though, just be happy that u and the baby are doing fine. take care.. bye!

Hey there,

Im 7.5 months and Im just not visible. I really dont know what to do. At times it makes me happy, at other times not because I have to tell people that Im pregnant. You mentioned that with your first it was hardly seen, Im inclined to believe that in the second it shows more than the first. Happenned with my friend and sis also. I have heard the tapping strategy from Prathima also but I have tried and tried in vain. The little one is just so dense, doenst take any hints.

love,
Raji

hey, people here think that if u are very visible in the belly area, then u r said to be carrying a boy. if u r "pregnant all over" that is kind of flat in the belly but u can tell from ur hips that u r pregnant then u r said to be carrying a girl! well, atleast with my son it was true, everybody used to tell me that they were sure it was a boy and it did turn out to be a boy. let's see about this one. i am due on dec 20th. at this point i can walk only with my legs apart and it is very difficult to sleep. try tapping ur belly to get ur baby to move and kick, they like playing games like that. ok, take care.. bye!

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
