Hi All,
I have 2 year old daughter and she doesn't want to drink milk at all.I tried to give her milk by telling stories and playing with toys or by showing pictures but she refuse to take milk.Now its very difficult to me give her milk and milk is neccessary for growth.Can i subsitute milk with any other thing?? If i give her yogurt then it'll fulfill all requirments of milk.What quantity of yogurt and others will sutaible foe her.. Please help.....I'm so disapponit now.

Subject:  Yogurt instead of milk



Dear Mrs Rita,
Yes, you can fed your baby yogurt instead of milk. Yogurt usually fulfill most of the requirement of milk. You can give 3/4 volume of yogurt in the place of milk.

Hi Rita,PL.don't worry abt his milk intake.U can substitute it with paneer,cheese,curd,tofu etc.Also you can easily add milk in to his soups,pudding,kheer,or cereals.

Try giving her flavoured milk by adding Junior Horlicks, Complan. U may even try Pedia-Sure. Yoghurt is too gud for health and my son takes a bowl full of them everyday.
