my baby used to do same thing. i also read in these boards itself in hetal reply that most babies hands and feet are cold and curled until 9months. it happens because their body does not know how to regulate the temperature in first 3-6months of their life.
if you observe sometimes their head part will be hot.that is also normal only if the forehead is not hot.
if forehead is hot, it means it is fever.
as and when they start using them for crawling, standing etc, their body learns to regulate the temperature by itself. you should only worry if the finger tips are very chilled and are turning bluish.bluish tips means your child needs to be seen by your doctor.

once they start lifting their head and once they start touching milestones their body learns to adjust to changing environment.most babies in winter have cold finger tips and feet also the other reason i think itz because this is their first winters.

i am not an expert that i know all these things but when my baby used to do that, in one of hetal reply this was all written.i followed all this and it helped me so i am sharing wid you.why don't you ask your doctor about it. after reading all this, i asked my doctor and my doctor agreed to me. He also told that whenever your baby gets cold hand and feet, give their hands and feet a gentle rub to warm them or change their pants or socks.
