I think gifts should have a practical aspect. I personally avoid giving clothes as gifts for the simple reason that parents can be very finicky about how they dress their children. Even toys are something I give only if I really cannot find another option.Giving toys to small babies sometimes does not prove beneficial because today you give baby a toy to play and tomorrow the baby might break it into pieces. So I prefer to give gifts like small soft toys which are unbreakable and may stay for longer time as compared to other toys for the babies.
