Hi,
how to make ragi flour porridge....pls tell me & other recipies for 13 month old son.i really want to know some recipies for my son .i'm feeling bore to give him oatmeal .rice cereal & vege & fruits .
He don't like much daal chawal ....i also give him upma with vege but i want to know other thing which is give to baby.
help

Hi Tina,
I am not sure of the convensional recipe for the ragi porridge, but when my daughter was of your son's age, I use to give her the same. Here is my recipe for ragi porrridge.
- roast the ragi floor in ghee
- add plenty of milk and if desired little bit of sugar or salt as per taste.
- keep stirring continuously to avoid the lumps till it is cooked properly and of desired consistency.

I use to give my daughter exactly what you are giving to your son. Some times I use to make Spinach or tomato soup. She use to love that. A blend of spinach and any of his favourate daal could also be given.
