Name: neetu hello all
I am a regular reader of this site. I am 27yrs old and have a regular cycle of 25 days. We have been TTC for 7 months with no luck. So were considering going to the doc. I wud like to know what will be the usual set of tests that will be asked to be taken. can anyone please give info on this? I live in the UAE.

Hello Neetu,
They will take your blood test to see if your thyroid is normal, check your lh and fsh levels and test out few other hormones. They may also do an ultra sound to check your ovaries and check out cysts if any. They might also want to check out your tubes are unblocked. Finally, they may also do a semen analysis for your husband to rule out low sperm motility.
