Hi Amit, there are a lot of government schools which are helping students to get educated free of cost. Also there are schools which do social work by providing free education to kids.

It is a government rule that all the schools have to keep a specific percentage of seats for students who actually won't be able to afford fees but want to study in a good school and do something for their family.

Along with government schools and colleges there are many private schools and colleges too that provide free education too. Some private schools instead of free education have minimum fees as given by the government and the rest it arranged by the board itself.

Free education may not be a feasible idea. But I know of schools that provide scholarships and concession to deserving students. One of my kids' classmates at Orchids has a scholarship and the teachers try to help students out with other scholarship exams - preparing them for it and so on.
