Hi my son is in state board as i feel thats the best board which gives some time for kids to give time on extra curricular activities and provides enough time to play with kids.

Hi Shilpi, i would say both are the best it all depends on the way your kid copes up. If your son or daughter is fine with CBSE you can put them there or go for ICSE which is a bit higher level than CBSE.

Well there is no comparison between the 2 boards as it depends on what type of curriculum you prefer for your kid and what are you looking for your kid. Both the boards have some basic differences and also some similarities.

The ICSE curriculum is very difficult and challenging but they have many extra curricular activities too. In that way they play as hard as they study that is they have the perfect balance when it comes to their school life.

You have to decide it acc to what you think your child will be able to cope up with. CBSE and ICSE both have a very vast curriculum and both are not very difficult but the ICSE board is a lil bit more difficult than CBSE.

ICSE is considered better than CBSE because their curriculum is said to be a little more informative and higher than the CBSE but it truly depends on your child and how he handles the pressure and the studies and the extra activities.

Hello Shilpi Mathur,
When compared to both ICSE will be higher than CBSE then only based on the scenario it will be chosen and affording money is also very important because cost will be also very high and it would contain high syllabus.

Hello Shilpi Mathur,
It depends on your thought because which ever syllabus it might depends on syllabus you chose. When compared in between CBSE and ICSE financially ICSE will be a lot. So according to your financial status you need to chose the syllabus.

hi shilpa, i have enrolled my kid in CBSE board. it is much better I feel. their curriculum is very standard and is good for development of kids. secondly, CBSE board doesn't put much pressure on the kiddos. try and go for CBSE

I studied in ICSE and my child studies in CBSE. ICSE is tougher than CBSE and both have stabdard curriculums. You can probably try ICSE first and then opt for CBSE in case your child cant cope with it.
