hi all!

hope all the mommies and babies r doing fine.we r slowly adjusting and i am loving each moment with my son.

i had a querry regarding the bowel movements of babies.

1. whatshould b the texture of the potty. my son who is over 7 weeks,passes extremely smooth paste like stool( very 'chikna')

2.when he has to do it, he shows a lot of discomfert too-as if he is making a lot of effort in doing so; cries also and makes strange faces.his milk seems well digested and the stool is certainly not hard-can he be constipated? why does he seem to apply so much effort- do other babies also do it?

i know all will b busy but i will b thankful if u can shed some light on this.

but as long as it is soft there is nothing to worry
but my baby still throws a lot of milk
which makes me worry

The stool shld be loose not hard,don't worry unless it's hard.This is wht our son's doctor told us.My baby do the same while passing stool.It's normal.
