Well i want to no smthg abt breast milk if u can throw some light on it.
I'm expressing milk using a manual pump, just don't no how long can i use the milk once i took it out from the refrigerator.Bcoz Tanish doesn't drink all at a time so i throw the remaining milk. Can i put it back in the refrigerator? Also is it good for him if i use milk of a previous day?

I go with Jayashree regarding the stroage of breast milk.

Once the milk has been thawed, it should not be refrozen. Microwaving or refreezing can destroy valuable proteins in breast milk. Its the same thing with the Fromula too. If u are not sure of how much Tanish drinks.. take one ounce at a time.

Yes, u can use the milk from the previous day only if its refridgerated/frozen. If possible try to rent/buy an electric pump. Hand pump can be very tiring and is a very long process.

Take care & give my best wishes to Tanish!

At room temperature, you can keep the breast milk for 24 hrs. If you refrigerate immediately after pumping, you can keep it for 3-5 days. Hope this helps.
Are you pumping exclusively or are you also breast feeding? Iam asking 'coz my daughter won't latch on and Iam having to depend more and more on pumping to feed her.

Hi,

I'm not totally depend on pumping milk.Tanish is latching on very well.

For 2 reasons i need pumped milk, one is he don't drink properly when hungry n sleepy at a time n the second is for my hubby so tht he can enjoy time spending with our baby.Just 1 r 2 times i'm using pumped milk(my hubby)n most of the other times i'm beastfeeding him.
I'm not giving formula to my son.So whenever i go out i take pumped milk with me.

U shld try to breastfeed ur baby, don't depend much on pumped milk,it's good whenever u r not arnd or go out.

BTW how old is ur daughter?Mine is 21 days.

Have any of you pierced your baby´ s ears?
Have any of you pierced your baby' s ears? Where did you get it done? Were you able to change the earrings after the piercing and put on indian ear rings? My pediatrician does not do it, and she suggested that i take tanvi to the mall. Pls share your experiences at the mall if you' ve had any.

Ear piercing
My daughter was 5 months old when we decided to get her ear pierced. The non medical ear piercing options are painful and unsafe with possibilities of hepatitis, viruses and even HIV and I can never recommend it. My husband and I were looking for a safe, modern, gun shot piercing option which is completely safe, pain-free and with a traditional touch as well.
