Hi, my daughter will be of a month old this 25th.

Since 2 days she is getting cranky with feeding as well as sleeping at nights. She used to drink properly for an hour or so.. since 2 days she is drinking only for 20 mins and then just licks the nipple as a pacifier or she sleeps off. She feels hungry within half an hour. Is this normal?? At nights she is cranky while putting to bed. As soon as we swaddle her she gets fussy. We ended up using pacifier. She is sucks that for 5 mins and then sleeps off. Is pacifier ok to use??? Will she get used to it if i happen to use it daily?? Will this affect breast feeding??

I am worried..pls do comment.

If pacifier soothes her then use it. Babies do not pick up habits until they are atleast 7 months old.Babies want security and will be attached to anything that gives them this

hi
my son doing the same.but he use to sleep well in night from the day of brith.he will wake 2times in the middle to poop and drink milk.but mostly 10 mins.in the hospital they say if he sleeps from 11 to 5 without waking no need to afraid.let him sleep.maybe ur milk supply is more now which is enough for her within 20mins.my son use me as human paifier he will sleep if i keep the nipple otherwise own sleep.not taking paifier also.so i will keep for few mins once he is ok i will remove but if we wake he alwayssearch for my nipple.
if she is pooping and wetting her diaper then i think no problem.our little once share the same brithday.paifier wont affect bf but my mum use to say air will fill the tummy and not allowning me to try it.

hi there, nice to hear from u. feeling a bit relaxed to know what i am facing with my daughter is normal. she too wakes up twice in the night. just last 2-3 days she is having trouble to sleep at the start, but once she uses pacifier for 5 mins.. she sleeps off nicely for 3-4 hours.

btw my daughter poops 5-6 times... but sometimes the it is very less amount of poop.. is this normal?? have to meet her pediatrician on 25th for her first months vaccination shot..will ask about this too.

ok take care. my love to siddharth.

Have any of you pierced your baby´ s ears?
Have any of you pierced your baby' s ears? Where did you get it done? Were you able to change the earrings after the piercing and put on indian ear rings? My pediatrician does not do it, and she suggested that i take tanvi to the mall. Pls share your experiences at the mall if you' ve had any.

Ear piercing
My daughter was 5 months old when we decided to get her ear pierced. The non medical ear piercing options are painful and unsafe with possibilities of hepatitis, viruses and even HIV and I can never recommend it. My husband and I were looking for a safe, modern, gun shot piercing option which is completely safe, pain-free and with a traditional touch as well.
