Hi All,

My baby (8 months) has severe cold and cough, fever since 1 week. looks like flu and today doc said he has ear infection too, he is on antibiotics. he is suffering from severe cold cough. pl help me with some remedies. Is it ok for babies less than an year old to get ear infection?

my 6 month old has severe cold and dry cough for the past 4 days .doc told he had severe ear infection in both ears ,that he prescribed antibiotic .he also told that babies from 6months to 1 year get lot of ear infection , but the number can be decreased if the baby is breast fed. applying saline drops in the nostril ,particularly before feeding helps.

sai, dont worry even my daughter ia having cold and cough . i am giving her homeo medicine which i think is working but she is crying a lot and i think she is having ear ache- so i think i will too show her to dr. soon.
