See if the place where you are shifting is not too far from his school then i would suggest you to not change his school as some kids find it very difficult to cope up with changes and get very sad.

Your child is smart and will always be no matter in which school he is. If you change his school you and he both will face problems in the starting but as time passes he will get used to the new place too.

If you change his school there are high chances that it will cause a little physiological disturbance in your child as he will have to leave his friends both in the society and in the school behind him and will have to start over.

Yes usually it always affects the child when his or her school or the place where they live is changed as they are used to that environment and are comfortable there. It takes them some time to get used to the new environment.

Hello Darshna,
According to me it doesn't effect is study. Because you join him in a school which maintains high standards and inculcate his mind with positive thoughts so that he will be in competitive nature.

Changing school in middle might effect your kids education. It takes time to get used to for the new environment. Since your kid is active, it might not take much time.

I think once you get your child mentally prepared, you can also take him to his new school before he actually joins there and familiarise him with the atmosphere. This will also help in preparing the child mentally.

Don’t worry Darshna, I can understand your concern well. Before shifting, just talk to your son about his new school and the reason for changing. It would cause a serious or an adverse effect only when you change him all of a sudden without informing him. Try to say the good things about his new school and an outline of the new environment. Try to make him comfortable about the place before he reaches there. Hope he will adjust to the new environment.
