Priya, August 15th means it is 1 month before ur due date...Is it? So what about ur job? R u planning to continue with taking leave? Or planning to quit?I think they will tell u also for an earlier delivery by 2 weeks.

Hey Priya, i m sorry for this delay in replying but i was just feeling so sick all the time & didnt go to library at all. Now we got pc etc fixed up at home so will be writing regularly. I feel very weak these days & sometimes also get blurred vision. Needless to say, i have got very very disturbed sleep so i get lot of mood swings also. The more i sleep, the better is my mood else i keep shouting at my dh. When i think back i find it so funny for acting so. Also sometimes i get frustrated with this sugar controll. I get cravings for sweets/ I guess, my 1st tremister is repeating with an addition of a big tummy. Anyways, my mom should be here anytime next week so then i will be better i guess. She got 10yrs multiple entry visa. Seems people who come thru H1 Sponsorers dont have much problems. What about ur mom? bye for now & keep in touch.

Aug 22nd is a good day. And also Ganesh chatruthi. I was also born in Ganapati season ! My doctor has not told me anything yet but she says that I should stay home after Aug 15th.
yesterday I went to see the diabetes center and got the Gulcocite test as +. So there is a possiblity of bladder infection still being there. So I just went to lab and gave the urine sample for testing.
The antibiotics were so strong that I have already become weak.

hey, do u sweat a lot these days? I do.
Even I get tired very soon. After staying home for long time it is difficult to continue in the office :-)

Anyways, My friend kept the name of the new born baby girl as SONIKA !!
It is very different name.

Ya actually i do sweat a lot these days but i thought it must be due to the weather of Atlanta. But then the nurse told me it was the sugar controll which was also playing part. The body looses extra water & so even there was some weight loss in my case.

Yeah I am doing fine now. Started working again. YEah this is was a big part of our pregnacncy that we did exchange many things. We got new friends and also new experiences !!
I am sure u will continue posting messages after the delivery also

Hey Priya, take lot of care......weve moved to appartment & now i am waiting for the stuff to come fm movers. But it is relaxing to be in a house than a hotel. All this moving has got me lot of stress.....mentally & physically & i thought i mayeven need a therapist to help me. anyways just trying to manage things myself. I was shocked when my dr told me my baby will be delivered 2 weeks early i.e latest By August 20/21st....but then i took it positively that since the babe is coming before september 1 year of education will be saved. also i think 21st or 22nd is Ganesh Chaturthi.. U might be knoing the exact date/ so pls let me know. Since they r gonna induce the labour, i can have a choice of getting my baby on ganesh Chaturthi. also the same day will be our festival samvatsari/ so double the joy!! my insulin is 10 Units but again the sugar is going up so may increase to 12 next week. My drs here, seem to be having much better coordination & i feeli m treated better than NJ so what ever happens is for good. ur baby weight is quite good so dont worry. my baby weight was 3.5 pounds & has changed the position to head down.... (preparing to meet us)Also take rest & enjoy as much as u can. One of my friend suggested that watching cartoons is very relaxing.... try it even if u dont like it much. i guess vigdhya is already enjoying her baby/she shud have asked her dh to post if a boy has com or a girl!! Just curious to know. I met a friend who had gestational diabities & was in india. she was not able to controll sugar & drs never gave her insulin/Her baby was 9 pounds + at birth & she got a c section/ so we r lucky that we r in usa where care is taken much better than in india..... I am sure we may not even remember all this once we see the baby. BTw, do u go out for fun & movies? we went to see the famous underground market here & also the cococola factory & it was fun time forgeting all worries for a while. Also saw Dr.dolittle part2( its cute)take care & will write when i next come to library.

how are you two doing??? niki, nice to hear that you've moved to your new apartment and not having to live any more in the hotel. just take it easy while unpacking etc, you dont want to strain yourself too much which might trigger labor. priya, i hope you're feeling better after your trip to hospital. dont worry everything will be fine. i went to the dr last thrusday (july 5th), she told me i'm 2cm dialated and my cervix has started thining. baby has descented (dropped) and that i should have the baby in a week. i go to the dr again on thrusday, hopefully i'll the little pumpkin before that:-) i'll definetly ask my dh to post a message as soon as i have this baby. you guys have been so much of a help and support throught out my pregnancy. belly rubs to all and send some labor vibes my way....i really need some. take care. vidhya

Ganesh Chaturthi is on Aug 22nd. It will be nice to have baby on that day. Pls. let me know what is the reason .. so that I will also be ready for early labour.

YEah I did watch LAGAN and watched baby and 3 men recently. Dr. Dolittle I shall see soon. I am doing ok with 14Units on Insulin now. ( under control)

Hi everyone after a long time i came here. Vidhya, wish u a very happy L & D & just be happy dont worry as u r so near. Keep urself as happy as possible & they say the baby will also be happy then. (I guess i shud also practice this....)BTw, do they monitor yr baby? How much is the weight of ur baby?? I guess ur baby is enjoying a lot in the womb right now.....any guess boy or gal? whats ur mom's guess?

priya, i was a bit shocked to hear about ur spotting so take lot of rest & care about urself. I think it shoud be the stress u r going thru by siting all day. May be reduce ur work timings to 4 hrs a day if possible or 3 days a week. Insulin is okey to take but to see a preme baby with tubes all around is very painful. Take a lot of care & Have Faith in God. when is ur mom coming? My mom got her visa & now my dh's project got extended here so we also got an appartment. So now i hope to call my mom before july end. I am also geting nervous so many times with these sugars. Though i take 8 units now, sugars keep high in mornings so dr has asked me to wake up at 3 O clock at night to measure my sugars. This baby is giving me a good practice in advance i guess. I think Vidhya got moms care at right time so she is in controll. I believe even after my mom comes things will be better. Now a days, i eat out a lot as mostly i feel tired to cook. Just praying for the best to come.

Thanks for the msg. Right now I am working from home. I have some bladder infection and that is why is the spotting. Doctors have increased my insulin to 12 now because I am not at all walking or doing any activity. I work sometimes a day .. take lot of rest. But stillfeel tired at the end of the day. My mom's visa is yet to come.
I am just praying god that she gets it.
Life has become very complicated ..
My baby weighs 2pounds and 11 aunces now. It is been big monitoring and testing last week. I was in emergency for 3 times. Doctors have given me medicines and I think i will be alright soon.
Yeah I am keeping my fingers crossed. One day I wen to emergemcy all alone because I could not find my husband on his desk. He was in a meeting. I left msg for him .. He came late to the hospital because it was raining and there was a traffic jam. when I saw him I started crying
Baby and the pregnacy is safe that is what doctor are telling us. But I need to be very careful now.
anyways, All the best to Vidhya... I know you must be eager to see your baby.

Hey priya, its been a while since I posted on Sep board. I cam imagine how you must be feeling right now with the problems and emergency visit etc. Do keep positive thoughts, everything will work out just fine.
Try drinking lots of water and cranberry juice, it will flush out bacteria from the bladder and keeps you hydrared.Try not to drink colas( Which I am sure you are not since you are on controlled diet) Keep up your spirits and I am sending healthy vibes your way. Take care and keep smiling !!!

Hey Girls,
I am home from last two days. I was working in my office on Wed and when I went to bathroom in the evening I saw some spotting.I called doc and doctor asked me to goto emergency.
Then they monitored the baby and also me. THey saw some contractions getting developed.Then doctor gave me an injection to stop these early contractions. It did stop with the injection she gave me. I was again monitored for few hrs. But i didnt even know how the contractions are like. And I always thought it was a baby move. But now I understand how are thoes.
I am alright now but feeling weak. Doctor asked me to take rest till the weekend.
How are U girls? Nikki since i can not walk now I am taking 10 units of Insulin from yesterday. It is 2 times a day. Both are type N insulin and I have to take one before bed time and one before my breakfast in the morning.

I am really really worried after this thing has happend. I was not at all excited. there was nothing i did .. but it was natural. Infact same morning I visited my Gynac for regular checkup and she told me everything was normal. After all this my doctor told me that babies are unpredictable.
So gilrs do take care of urself and have a good weekend. Anupama nice to hear from u after a long time.

Vidhya, sorry to learn about your emergency visit to the hospital. Here, I too am very scared about spotting and urinary infection ( have been thru one just before conceiving and it was a terrible experience). My genitals are slightly swollen and am really paranoid. Am visiting the gynaec. this weekend and will show him.
Otherwise everything is fine. Hope you all are having a nice time with your babies kicking and squirming.

Really sorry for to hear about your emergency visit to the hospital. hope you're feeling better now. i've heard its common to get urinary-track infection during pregnancy. just try drinking plenty of water and i'm sure the antibiotics that you're taking should take care of that. try not to loose hope, just think of this as a stepping stone. i'm having a few problems myself as the end is nearing, i can hardly sleep during the night and back hurts constantly etc. etc. Looks like all this is a part of being pregnant. well i'm just so excited that the baby will be soon. so how are your sugar levels these days??? my prayers to you for a healthy pregnancy. take care. vidhya
