I am a mother of 1 1/2 year old baby.I got a job i have been going for 2 days now.I put my daughter with a babysitter.My husband puts her there in the morning.She starts crying that moment, then when i phone that lady i can hear my daughter laughing and playing.when i return from work and pick her from there that moment also she is very sad and hugs me tightly.I am feeling really sad b'coz of this .when will babies overcome this .Will my daughter change this behavior and happily say bye while she is put there?
Please give suggetions as well as your experiences.

Manju Aniruddha replied. I also faced such depression when I put my 2-1/2 Yrs old daughter to playschool. She took about 10-15 days for adusjting there. And after that use to say bye-bye with wide smile on face. Children cry like this b'coz of sort of insecurity they feel while aparting from Mom & Dad. But slowly they get familiar with the doors, windows, furniture, staff of sitter, co-incubants and slowly their mind starts accepting that we are safe. Smaller the kid, earlier it will adjust. So don't worry within a week or two your baby will stop crying. One thing we must keep in mind, we should be practical and it is better not to keep in touch with the baby when she is in sitter. Don't Worry. Its just the feeling of missing you all day along. It will soon be over... My One year old daughter used to do this ... but now she's more comfortable playing with the lady who attends her and enjoys..........
