hi iam 33 years 90 kg 6 feet , i hv tummy of 110 cm, recently i hv purchased treadmill, please tell me only doing treadmill will help to reduce weight/ ot it makes any side effect . what is the different from ground walking and tread mill walking , please reply

xx, treadmill is a good way to reduce your tummy. But take it slow and build your edurance and resistance. Start with a 5 minute warm up where you walk in a relaxed fasion and then build your speed to a point where you have to really breathe hard(try to be here for about 15 mints) and then cool off with another 5mints of winding it all down to zero.

Diff between walking outside and on a treadmill are many to count. But let me try.Walking outside in the early morning, breathing fresh air and absorbing the vitamin D from the sun, listening to birds and generally being with nature adds a great deal to your life, if you know what i mean. Also no treadmill can beat the uneven surfaces, slopes, wind resistance and the sheer unpredictability of nature versus a machine that knows only so much. So, in the event that you don' t have easy access to good weather conditions, fresh air, open areas to walk about then a treadmill is a good alternative. Otherwise, who wants to be cooped up inside the home on a treadmill watching TV?
