Feeding:Training my baby to drink from a cup

Hi!My son turns one this Oct.30th. He is well into eating solid food now [loves it!:] & drinks water from his training cup with absolutely no fuss. The thing is that when I try to feed him milk or fruit juices using similar cups he does not enjoy them. He downs them readily if I offer the same in a feeding bottle.I want to rid him of this bottle habit as soon as possible. How do I get him to drink milk he was bottle-fed from 2 mths. onwards & other liquids from trainer/regular cups? Please help!!!

Do not get tensed. It is not a problem at all.Kids refuse many things-just make it a fun or a play thing,he will readilly do everything you wish him to do.Do not try to force. They really hate being forced to anything.

I am having a similar problem with my 9 month old daughter. She will take water from the cup only to hold in her mouth and dribble it all out without swallowing any. She thinks its a game. Im sure in time she will learn how to drink from a cup.
