Hi Archie,
I am very new to this board. I know you always give help others.. please help me..
I got by Home pregnency test positive- went for a blood test at 32 day( 4 weeks 3 days since LMP)- they told hcg count is high -2948
is it too high at this stage .. Does this means there will be multiples ? I am really worried.
I need to wait one week for the ultrasound. really worried about multiples.. Can you please explain this?
does the hcg depens on persons? I mean some peopel will have high or low.. or does the high count mean multiples ??

Please help me-

Dear new Use,
Let me congratulate you on your pregnancy first!

Looks like you will have twins if not multiples. But it could be that your implantation/ovualtin took place little earlier than schedule, which can happen sometime and then your hCG could fit for a singlet also, so don't count on twins so much without revealing on ultrasound.
What's good thing is good hCG is a sign of healthy pregnancy. You will carry this to term no matter whether this is a singlet, twins or multiples:)

I don't think hCG levels are variable for person to person, it's about gestation not on person built or health.
