Hi Shruti,

You could encourage him to eat with you. When you are having food let him sit along with you and family and see you eat your food. He will slowly develop the interest to try what you are eating. In addition if there are neighbourhood kids who come to play with him you could offer some eatables to the kids also so that your kid will watch and learn. I experienced this when my kid started learning faster when he saw other kids doing an activity. Try this it may help. You could continue with the bottle till he is motivated to start on solids on his own.

I dont know whether it will help but my nephew had the same problem. My sister-in-law tried evrything then finally she just broke the bottle and then for few days she had to make herself strong. At first her son did not eat anything but then he was hungry so he started eating. This is difficult thing to do but try it hid the bottle and then whatever he likes the most in TV or games etc show that and try to feed him. At first he wont eat but gradually when he is hungry he will start to eat. At first he will eat really less so you have to bear with that a bit. All the very best to you...do let us know how it is going.

hello sruti

whenever u plan to feed to ur baby, try to keep his mood light, happy. b4 feeding time u play nicely with him, and at the time to feeding make him sit near the window keep showing something outside or switch on the t.v. show some nice kartoons so that he will have some diversion and he will eat blindly. once he likes the taste of solid food then onwards he will definitely enjoy the food. make the food a bit tasty but not too spicy, so that he can enjoy.
all the best
