Name: Prarthana Hi all. I am already 36 yrs and have tried IUI almost 4-5 times. this time doctor told me to go for IVF when i go to India. Does anyone know about which hospitals would do IVF other than the big hospitals like Jaslok, Hinduja etc.small other hospitals closer to suburbs and what maybe the cost. Offcourse the big hospitals would offer the best of treatments but travelling maybe a problem. And moreover do we have to go for injections daily and can we travel after the treatment. I will be getting around 1 month to 45 days leave. Please help us and Thanks from the bottom of my heart. GOD Bless All.

Thks Suman - again some help

Thks Suman and sorry to trouble u once again. Do we need to do all the tests also.and u mean we need to go to the hospital daily. we stay in New Mumbai and my sis stays in Andheri. Both the places are very far from Colaba. So will travelling not be advisable.My Sis works in Jaslok which is one of the best.But i think the costs will be high.not sure. anyways i have to check all the options before actually taken any decision. Thanks a lot for the info.

No you don't have to do all tests again, but anyways talk to Dr.Malpani over the phone or through e-mail. you can find about e-mail & phone through his website.they will provide info about the staying place too..thank you.hope this helps.

ya suman i would like to get some more info if u dont mind. reg.charges, how many trips we have to do to the hospital, the atmosphere. i am sorry about ur IVF failure. did u come to know the reason and how r u now any good news. thanks a lot for everything.

Hi,
The cost came around 1.5 lakhs, only for treatments, we stayed in our relatives house.Atmosphre was not bad.nurses are very good.only i suspect lab may not be very good.b'coz the quality of embrio was not great. i tried ivf in usa also, so embrio quality was good here.and also the transfering method of embrio was better in usa.but Dr.malpani will meet you everyday .it's very unlikely that usa doc will meet you everyday.
About me no i am still trying..no good news.goodluck .
