Hello Archie and All,

Archie, hope advait is doing good progress. If you remember me. We had little interaction few months back.

We are facing unexplained infertility since 3 yrs. I am 29 and Huby 33. My blood tests, HSG and my husband's semen analysis is normal. I have 28 days regular cycle. We had 2 failed IUI. I am on my first IVF cycle in which 21 eggs retrieved , 10 fertilised only 2 developed embryos put back on 17/09/04 and I am on cyclogest pessaries twice a day. But since saturday I had pink discharge which was converted to brown on sunday and today which is monday I think my period is started bcos there was moderate blood discharge like period. I called up my doctor and she said it is possible that one embryo couldn't survive but still there is a chance for the other one. and she told me to increase pessaries to 3 times a day from 2 .

Do you believe what she is saying might be true? Bcos I do not. As I can see blood discharge same like as period. And not a single symptoms of pregnancy.

I want to go for immunological tests before going for second IVF. What do you think about those issues. I found that experts have some contravercies over the immunological issues. What do you say.

Going for antibodies and Lupus stuff is good idea at least clears mind on that part.

If you had IVF done on 17th and experienced bleed or spotting on 25th then looks like two possibilities,
one as you heard one of the two embryos is dead.

Second you are successful. Implantation takes place anywhere between 5-7 days, but in IVF it should be faster, this is where I find it little difficult to believe it could be an implant but can't rule out. Hang in there for one more week because if you have had implantation bleeding then in a week the pregnancy hormones will shoot up.

What cycle day it was on 17th september? and was the 25th September anticipated for your normal period.
Remember you took off your eggs so that your cycle will be slightly different than your routine.
